Vergne still feeling stiff after Monza accident:
- Jean-Eric Vergne, from his suspension failure crash in Monza, is still suffering from a stiff neck and back, however he states that it won't stop him from preparing as normal for the Singapore Grand Prix.
- On lap 9 the Torro Rosso snapped out of control into a curb coming into turn one, due to a rear suspension failure. Vergne thought the car my flip in the air before landing however the car hit the curb on landing, and Vergne managed to get out of his car unassisted.
- Sahara Force India had a strong showing at the Belgian Grand Prix (Spa) as Nico Hulkenberg scored his best position result of his career so far, a 4th place. As well as this Paul di Resta despite having KERS malfunctions, managed a 10th place.
- Which as well as giving the team a much needed 13 points in the weekend, launches them ahead in the Constructors Championship, they are now positioned 7th, 6 points ahead of Williams.
